Making tips
Lock the red chassis and three wheels
Place the red chassis bar and the three dark-blue wheel rings first — one large rear wheel and two smaller front ones — to set the steam-engine proportions. Don’t make all three wheels the same size.
Fill the orange cab and blue boiler
Fill the orange cab block and the long blue boiler rectangle on the chassis, keeping the color join straight. The boiler is the largest continuous fill — settle it before adding attachments.
Add chimney, yellow nose, and red roofs
Raise the brown smokestack with its red cap on the boiler, lay the red cab roof, then add the yellow nose strip and the red cowcatcher. The chimney joins the boiler by only a few beads — align it mid-boiler.
Place the round window and hubs
Finish with the light-blue round cab window and the light-blue hubs in all three wheels. The circular window is a key landmark — match the chart outline carefully.
Check chimney and wheel sizes before ironing
Confirm the chimney cap is centered, the yellow nose sits flush on the boiler front, and the rear wheel stays larger than the two front ones before you iron.
