Making tips

  1. Lock in the black outline

Place the black outline for the head, body, and four short legs first to set the side-standing shape and leg spacing. Fill inward only after the outline is complete.

  2. Fill the white body and soft gray shadow

Inside the outline, lay the large white torso first, then add the pale gray belly and leg shadows so the main blocks feel solid.

  3. Add neck and back stripes plus the mane

After the body fill, place the black-gray stripes along the neck and back, then the dark mane and muzzle. Stripe widths vary — match the chart section by section instead of guessing.

  4. Finish the face and hoof tips

Add the eye, pink inner ear, and hoof tips last. This pattern has several rare accent colors — scan them once more when you finish.

  5. Final check before ironing

Double-check the four short legs for missing beads, stripe alignment, mane edges, and tiny facial details before you iron.

Helpful tips

  • At 64×64, work in zones — outline, white fill, stripes/mane, then face — and check after each zone.
  • Stripes are scattered small shapes — place them against the chart in sections rather than filling a whole area at once.
  • Check rare accents like the pink inner ear and eye last so low-count colors are not missed.
