Making tips
Lock in the black outline
Place the black outline for the head, thick back, forearms, and hind legs first to set the knuckle-walking stance and leg spacing. Fill inward only after the outline is closed.
Fill the deep-gray torso and arms
Inside the outline, lay the large deep-gray blocks on the head, forearms, and torso so the main mass feels solid before refining the back and limbs.
Layer the silverback and limb shading
Add the mid-gray silverback on the rump and hind legs, then the shoulder, chest, and limb mid-tones. The grays are close — match the chart section by section.
Finish the face and knuckle highlights
Add the pale blue-gray face, knuckle/foot highlights, and the tiny eye and nostrils last. Scan rare accent beads once more when you finish.
Final check before ironing
Double-check the four limbs for missing beads, silverback edges, and the pale face block before you iron.
