Making tips
Lock in the jagged spine outline
Place the dark upward/back-pointing spine tips and the face–chest edge first to set the side silhouette. Many tips end on a single bead — seat them firmly.
Fill cream face and gray-brown back
Lay the warm cream face/chest as one block and the gray-brown back fill, keeping the diagonal face–spine divide. At 64×64, finish face and spine zones separately.
Build spine texture in sections
Deep brown and lighter tan alternate along the spines in uneven widths. Work inward from the outline in chart sections instead of flooding the whole back.
Add nose, eye, and stubby feet
Finish with the pointed nose, square eye, and two short feet. White/pale spine-tip accents are rare — scan them once more when done.
Final check before ironing
Double-check spine tips for gaps, a clear face–back divide, and complete nose, eye, and feet before you iron.
