Making tips
Lock beak and spread-wing outline
Place the dark outline for the long thin beak, raised wing, and trailing wing first to lock the hovering pose. The beak is about one bead wide — keep it continuous.
Fill mint back and white belly
Inside the outline, lay the mint-green back and large white belly, then gray-green and pale wing fills so the main blocks feel solid.
Add magenta throat and deep green layers
Place the magenta gorget at the head–chest join, then deep green feather layers on the wings. The magenta-to-white edge is diagonal — match the chart.
Finish the eye and beak tip
Add the single black eye, beak tip, and tiny dark feet last. This pattern has many colors and rare accents — scan low-count beads once more.
Final check before ironing
Double-check the thin beak for gaps, wing layer placement, and a clean magenta throat edge before you iron.
