Making tips
Lock in head, forelegs, support legs
In side view, place the deep-green outline for the triangular head, folded scythe forelegs, and thin support legs to set the praying pose. Legs and antennae are only one or two beads wide — seat them firmly.
Fill bright green body and forelegs
Lay bright and leaf greens inside the head, thorax, abdomen, and folded arms. At 64×64, advance head → forelegs → abdomen → support legs as zones.
Add deep green shading and segments
Use deeper greens for shadows and limb segments; the abdomen may show olive cross-lines. Similar greens mix easily — match the chart section by section.
Place eye highlights and antennae
Fill the large compound eyes with dark pupils and white glints, then the thin upward antennae and sparse pale accents. Single white/pale beads deserve a final scan.
Final check before ironing
Double-check folded foreleg outlines, thin support legs for gaps, eye highlights, and antennae before you iron.
