Making tips

  1. Lock in neck, body, and fan outline

Place the dark outline for the side-view long neck, body, and fanned tail to set head direction and fan arc. At 64×64, close the outline in sections.

  2. Fill blue neck and mint-green tail

Lay sky blue on the neck/chest and mint green on the fan, keeping dark-green feather ribs. Finish neck/body then tail as zones so blues and greens stay distinct.

  3. Place tail eye spots one by one

Each ocellus is a yellow center with a pale ring inside a dark-green rim. Match the chart spot by spot instead of flooding the whole fan.

  4. Add crest, beak tip, eye, thin legs

Finish the thin crest with pale tips, beak, eye, and slim legs last. This pattern has many rare accents — scan them once more when done.

  5. Final check before ironing

Double-check eye-spot layers, complete crest lines, thin legs, and beak tip before you iron.
